Find Your Perfect Fit
Glasses should feel as good as they look. That’s why getting the right frame size matters. At Narain Opticians, we make it simple to understand the numbers printed inside your frame.
How to Read Frame Sizes
Most glasses have three numbers on the inside of the temple (arm), written like this: 52 ▢ 18 – 140.
-
Lens Width (52 mm)
The horizontal width of one lens. -
Bridge Width (18 mm)
The distance between the two lenses, over your nose. -
Temple Length (140 mm)
The length of the arm that goes behind your ear.
Common Frame Sizes
| Lens Width | Bridge Width | Temple Length | Face Fit |
|---|---|---|---|
| 48–50 mm | 16–18 mm | 135–140 mm | Small |
| 51–54 mm | 17–19 mm | 135–145 mm | Medium |
| 55–58 mm | 18–20 mm | 140–150 mm | Large |
Tips for Choosing the Right Size
-
Check your current glasses – Look for numbers inside the frame.
-
Match your face shape – Smaller faces usually need narrower lenses and shorter temples.
-
Comfort first – Frames shouldn’t slide down your nose or press against your temples.
-
Try in-store – Our opticians will guide you to the best fit for all-day comfort.
